Q: What happens if merchandise is damaged?

A: Since the retailer never has to handle the merchandise, the retailer is not responsible for any delivery damage.  Once Deliveright picks up merchandise from the manufacturer, we are responsible for it until the end consumer accepts it in the home.  Upon acceptance by the consumer, the retailer (and manufacturer) receive an email confirmation of the delivery along with any comments made by the consumer.  Manufacturers are responsible for any manufacturers’ defects.
